Harmonizing Sound is one of the vital aspects of building your inner temple in preparation for the Presence of G-d
Have you ever approached a bird startled by your presence which made it fly away quickly? So with the Holy Spirit. If you are filled with internal chaos, grumbling, chatter, excessive preoccupation with the world, when encountering the Holy Spirit you are going to cause the Holy Spirit to flee! If you have invited the Holy Spirit into your life, avoid grieving the Holy Spirit with negativity and toxicity. Once you have established a sound routine of daily communion with the Holy Presence, you must remain gentle, positive, serene and receptive in your rapport not only with the Divine but with All. You must combine passion, excitement with joy and peace in your expression and emotions. You must learn to maintain this mindset all the time. This is what meditation on G-d sets out to do. It is not differentiated from Transcendental Meditation in that all Saints meditated either through prayers, silence, singing and chanting. But they did so to enter the Presence of G-d, not merely to raise their vibrational level of consciousness or enter a state of detached bliss.
In the midst of a busy and chaotic world, it can be difficult to find that inner peace and remain in that mode. Meditation on G-d and His Holy Spirit means finding space in our lives to momentarily shut out all and to let the Holy Spirit in. It means preparing the temple inwardly for the direct interaction with the indwelling of the Divine Presence. In order to do this, one must learn to practice becoming still, silent and trusting psychologically, emotionally and mentally. It means stilling of the mind and impulse of thinking and awaiting with great humility and receptivity for the Voice of the Lord. Through meditation on G-d, it IS possible to cultivate emotional serenity, mental peace, and spiritual wisdom.
He said "Be Still and Know that I Am."
Reconciliation with those with whom you have become estranged can be a difficult and challenging process. Through meditation on G-d, you can acquire the capacity to let go of past wrongs or hurts, become reflective enough in self-inventory to handle the challenges of rejection, delusion or disappointment. Meditation on a Psalm, or a Sermon of the Lord is also incredibly powerful. By stilling the chaos of the mind and focussing on the life giving Word, you can let go of anger and resentment, free yourselves from negative emotions to move forward in the light of Yeshua building compassion and understanding: the bridge for reconciliation.
Yeshua is the bridge builder. Nobody can rend relationships, break powerful bonds and expect for these to be mended in an hour. It takes the saving grace, compassion and blessing of Yeshua. In meditation, we find the tools to enter this process building little by little with His light and love until walls have been torn down and strongholds released. Are you experiencing defeat from rejection, family estrangement and disappointment in relationships? Meditation on G-d can help you become stronger through your trials.
Gratitude is a powerful gift that often we do not recognize as the fruit of walking in the Holy Spirit. When we give thanks while meditating to the Lord, Our Creator, we spiritually shift our perspective automatically.
The process helps us find joy in even the smallest things. By cultivating a sense of gratitude of the wonderful gift of salvation wrought in Yeshua, over time we increase happiness and well-being. This gift can spread to others around us making our lives to take on a whole new meaning.
Meditation of G-d is unlike any other type. It is a process of silence, reflection and devotion. It can be experienced along with prayer and study of the Word of the Lord to create a triple tiered armor to protect and support you as a disciple of Yeshua the Messiah. Some of the added benefits of sustaining this protection and power in your life is development of gifts of the Holy Spirit, discernment, building of virtue, and a new appreciation of Divine grace.
As you continue this life enhancing practice, you will find it more of a pleasure than food, drink, sleep or any fun past times you have ever experienced. That is because your spirit is feeding on the spiritual light of the Heavenly Father. You are growing in the Holy Spirit. You are now recalibrating your whole self to the delight and joys of Heaven. Remember that to become able to enter Heaven, you must enter it here and now within yourself. No man can enter Heaven without intercession here and now from the Son, that meaning, orientation, preparation and redemption for the Presence of the Living G-d.
Yeshua was very concerned about taking care of the body that which He called the 'temple of the indwelling spirit'. He talked about this often. As He healed others He revealed how important it is to care for themselves on the outside as well as the inside.
Taking care of our whole being is essential for our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. This includes practices such as physical exercise, healthy eating, meditation on G-d, self inventory and building vital energies with various natural modalities.
The path to self-discovery is a lifelong journey. One does not stop learning upon leaving college, becoming an empty-nester or even retiring. By doing a self-inventory of values, and passions at any stage in life, disciples of Yeshua gain a deeper understanding of themselves inwardly and in the world. Meditation on G-d and His LIving Word allows the seeker to explore the life giving breath, substance and Presence of power in the Words of Yeshua. The disciple can learn how to apply this life sustaining power to any circumstance that needs bolstering, cleansing, and sustaining.
In my experience, many gurus from India claim to have the upperhand knowledge of meditation. However, in my experience of seeking what they knew, I have only found ONE Hindi Indian guru that professes that meditation was meant to be a tool to experience G-d!
Connection with others is essential for our well-being. We are social beings. We need that emotional-social bond. We were created in the image and likeness of a Divine Parent who also experiences emotions and feelings. We are no less like Him. Meditation on the Spirit allows us to sift through all the chaos and reconnect to that stream of love, life and light that flows from the Heavenly Father. Whether we lose our community, friendships, or romantic relationships, a human connection and sense of belonging in Our Lord can keep us anchored, in touch and inspired with His Divine support, love, wisdom. Remembering too, that the strong and sound relationship with the Divine is the ultimate experience for humanity that brings all failed communications into perspective. Every human being is entitled to such an experience with the Divine Presence. When one finds it, nothing can compare to the joy and peace He brings into the experience. In particular this kind of meditation assists in emptying the space needed to receive the Holy Presence. For the devoted, it becomes a way of life.
